“I just wanted to say how great it was to have the opportunity this past spring testing your compass on my arctic expedition. It has become a must have for me now on both expeditions and search and rescue operations. Thanks again”

LOCATION W/ COMPASS: AFGHANISTAN
“The NavELite compass does not vary in accuracy until it’s less than 3 inches from metal, huge difference from the plastic clear ones they gave us. And when it does start to vary its only by 10 degrees (the issued ones spin around 180 degrees).” – Army soldier serving in Afghanistan

OCCUPATION: NASAR SARTECH II
LOCATION W/ COMPASS: ABITIBI RIVER, ARCTIC OCEAN
“During my mission down the Abitibi River to the Arctic Ocean, the NavELite Tactical units performed flawlessly. When my custom unit fashioned from a Suunto M-3 Explorer Baseplate Compass failed during a blinding 3-day blizzard in sub-zero temps, I quickly grabbed a NavElite Tactical unit from another team member and continued on point. I used it on point for the remainder of the expedition without a hitch. I was quite impressed with the NavELite unit’s durability. I love the beefy needle. The bold red dot marking the business end of the needle was extremely functional during the blinding blizzard. The ratcheting nature of the compass and strong outer housing kept the unit’s azimuth setting secure when bushwhacking and busting thick brush–a major problem with other compasses.” – Michael Neiger, Lead Investigator, NASAR SARTECH II, Michigan Backcountry Search and Rescue (MibSAR)

“Just bought mine. I would like to have some of these for my proshop. Go to marksmanshipacademy.com and take a look. Let me know if we meet the criteria to be a dealer. I love this because it is simple and it works. Nice piece of kit guys—cant wait on mine to get here. Also, our complete online pro shop should be active in mid July–we could probably move lots of these.” – Marc J. Masoner

“Got to look at it at SOFIc and even bumped in to the owner and partners of the company at a bar afterwards. Great guys with the right backgrounds to understand the needs of the guys on the pointy end of the stick. Shared a beer or three and a good cigar. Great guys and I personally hope to do some stuff with them soon. I highly recommend their product, and the stuff they are working on for future is going to be the cats ass as well.” – Michael Doc Hewett

“Love your page and looking forward to ordering one of your compasses! I’ve spent 26 plus years in the US military 82nd Airborne, Special Forces and Long Range Surveillance Unit, so I learned a good deal about land navigation and the use of compass and map to get around in the woods. I have done some geocaching with friends as well, your product is one that would be a great aid to those who like recreational land nav as well as those who use it as a tool in the military or emergency services professions. Thanks for putting together a great page and product!” – MSG Dale Simpson

“Every wrist compass I have ever had except the silva was too small to be of mush use except for cardinal direction. The Silva was fairly good but at night and now that my vision is getting more farsighted with old age I need a compass I can read easier. In the past I had to have a compass that could go from jumping out of a plane , to being in the water and various temp. ranges. I do not own one of your compasses but from what I see it is a big leap in features and I am planning on purchasing one in the future. Again a great looking product that I will recommend to my friends!” – Dale
